Victoria Park Community Cricket League
The Victoria Park Community Cricket League was formed in 1988 to provide a wide range of people with access to competitive cricket. Based in Victoria Park in east London, we play two competitions, the league and a knock-out cup.
Matches are 8-a-side and 16 overs per innings, maximum four overs per bowler with batsmen retiring at 50 and able to return back once all the last wicket is in place.
Royal Tigers were crowded league champions of 2023 for the first time, whilst the Gina Bogan League, the womens midweek league, was shared between London Universities and Old Exonians. One of the oldest teams, Rose & Crown finally won the Vandermark Cup, whilst North London were crowned champions of the inaugural Womens Midweek
